‘Original Impression' is a database building project for personal care botanical raw materials from Pan Himalaya region conducted independently by Ingredi. The database with independent intellectual property was established base on field research and investigation over the years, combined with professional knowledge of ethnobotany, phytochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, dermatology, and lab data.

Sesbania grandiflora, with its edible flowers and leaves, had captured our interest since the first time we conducted field research and investigation in Xishuangbanna. A few field research trips have been conducted to find out more information regarding this species in recent years. At the same time, our R&D team have developed the flowers into an active raw material for cosmetics.
